Katherine Jean Bolduan also called Kate Bolduan by professional names is a broadcast journalist from the United States. Most famously, she is the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential election. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and deliberations by the super-committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports about the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in the year 2007. She was an CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
