Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1960) is an American author, and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. Previously she was the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. In addition, she has made legal commentaries for Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor, and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She received a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was the legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
