April Bowlby, an American model and actress. She is best known for portraying Kandi and Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans as well as Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. She is best known for her portrayals in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a comedy series that is a legal, fantasy drama and comedy. When she began her career as a model, she then moved to television and film. Following her appearance as an extra character in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several other series, her debut on the screen was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon, she landed the role of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention throughout the world. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in The American online series Titans. The character will return in the spin-off series to Doom Patrol. Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby has also been seen on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Following her appearance as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film) along with From Prada, to Nada she made her debut on big screens with All Roads Lead Home. She went to East Union High School. She took ballet classes and French at Moorpark College before deciding to pursue an acting career. She studied drama in the company of Ivana Chubbuck. She was offered the role of a leading television series (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) within months of her first Hollywood audition. Bowlby is famous for her appearances in various TV shows, including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005 and the show Stacked as Jasmine 2007 and How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. Bowlby's latest role was Natasha who was a 12-year-old girl who lost her mother to an auto accident. Bowlby plays Mia on the 2008 comedic The Slammin Salmon. She lives in Los Angeles. She has natural red hair and blue eyes. She is a single woman with no children.
