Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. She was the first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals during the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was born within Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. She and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman, when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. In just two short years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles was distinguished by her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficulty of her routines across all four events such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces and the balance beam.
